Tailor-made capacity building
Tailor-made courses are provided in response to requests from clients, such as technical schools, vocational training institutes, educational institutes, governmental and non-governmental organizations and small-scale enterprises in the South. Understanding local needs and priorities is an important starting point for the development and implementation of capacity building projects that fit the local context. Together with our partners we pioneer new concepts and approaches, and develop tailor-made solutions to their educational challenges.
Sustainability
The sustainability of training projects is addressed throughout the project cycle, and includes training needs assessments, ToT approaches, institutional arrangements for embedding new curricula and modules, accreditation and certification advisory services, and refresher courses.
Quality
Since 2008 ETC assures the quality of its work through an approved Quality Management System (ISO 9001: 2000 certified). By effectively applying this system ETC continuously improves the quality of its products and services to ensure customer satisfaction. The quality of training projects implemented under the Technical Training Program is ensured by applying the QMS system, e.g. by close monitoring and evaluation of the various phases of the training project.
